Your information

Focus keeps your blocking schedule, website selections, preferences and daily blocking count on your device to provide its features. The count does not contain a browsing history. Focus does not collect your browsing history or send your blocking settings to us. There are no user accounts, advertising, tracking or usage analytics in the app.

Permissions and backups

On iPhone and iPad, Focus requests Screen Time permission to apply your chosen restrictions. On Mac, the App Store version requests permission to enable its network extension. You can manage these permissions in device Settings. Device backups are managed by Apple and may include app data, depending on your settings. Focus does not sync your settings between devices.

Purchases and support

Apple handles App Store purchases. Focus does not receive your payment-card details. If you email support, we receive your email address, message and any attachments through our email service. We use this information to respond and resolve your request. Please do not send passwords or unnecessary personal information.

Your choices

You can edit your blocking settings outside an active blocking window and add websites during it. You can request deletion of support correspondence by emailing us; legal retention requirements may apply. Removing the app deletes local data according to your device’s system behavior; backups are managed separately. On Mac, turn blocking off in Focus outside an active session before removing the app. If you use an earlier version with a Restore Network Settings option, use that option before removal. Contact support if you need help removing remaining app data.

This website

We do not add cookies, advertising or analytics to these pages. The website service processes visitors’ IP addresses for security. This website activity is separate from the information kept by the app.

We will update this policy if our data practices change. The date above identifies this version.
